Wendy Johnson began selling Agricultural Land, Farm and Ranch, Recreational, Equestrian Estates, Hunting, Residential and Country Home properties throughout Texas in 2012. Raised on a horse ranch in Northern Illinois, Wendy developed a passion for the outdoors at an early age.
Her business manager and paralegal background working with contracts, dispute resolutions and negotiations complements her work in real estate. She represents domestic and international sellers, buyers, and investors, while continually building relationships with top real estate professionals. Her reputation for integrity, honesty, quality of service, effective negotiating, and understanding of markets allows her to get deals done.
She serves on the National Realtors Land Institute (RLI) Chapter Task Force, Texas Chapter Task Force and National Education Committee as a Board of Director. Since she began her career in real estate, she has landed her Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) and Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) designations. She has received many awards recognizing many achievements, including Rookie of the Year, Top Producer and Leadership, as well as showing her horses to World and Reserve Championships.
She is certainly passionate and dedicated about her business in real estate, and her faith shines in God, family and friends.
Bailey Reid was born and raised in the Northern most part of the Texas Panhandle. Farming and ranching has been in his family for generations. He understands what it takes to run a successful farm and cattle operation and the blood, sweat and tears that one puts in everyday.
Bailey attended West Texas A&M University where he received an Agribusiness and Economics degree. He moved back home to help run the family business before deciding to expand to East Texas. Bailey is passionate about the future of the land and the business of agriculture and is still in the cattle business today.
Bailey is a God loving, hard-working, family man that will devote his time to ensure his clients are matched with their dream property. He will be committed to helping each individual in their own stage of the process whether it be selling or buying property, and he will serve them with integrity, passion and firsthand knowledge.
David Magness is a native Texan and has been in the real estate field since 2006. David is a graduate of the Texas A&M University-Commerce, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Agriculture. David specializes in farm and ranch, commercial, rural and residential properties across North Texas.
He grew up on a farm in Fannin County, and moved to Royse City in 1973, where he has been involved with years of agriculture and ag-related businesses. David was a founding investor in Texas Leadership Bank, and served as Chairman of the Board. He and his wife, Shirley, have been married for 45 years.
David is active in the community, serving on the Chamber, Youth Fair and Farm Bureau boards. He has served as a school board trustee, and currently serves as Rockwall County Commissioner for Precinct 4.
David understands the hard work and dedication needed to succeed. He is committed to fair and equal treatment of his clients, and his background, strong work ethic, education and abilities serve the real estate industry well.

OJ Johnson was raised in Sweetwater working on the family ranch raising cattle. Between his life on the ranch and starting his career at United Country Texas Landmark Properties OJ spent 40 years in the transportation industry. Today, he combines his executive experience, strong ethics and his understanding of the multifaceted land business to assist his clients in finding the right property for their needs.
Cheryl Hopper, also known as Chea (shay) began her real estate journey as a Realtor in 2007 and further pursued her career 3 years later becoming a Broker for the North Carolina Real Estate Commission. She spent just over 5 years working with military families at home and abroad. Working in a military market means things can change at the drop of a dime, fast pace turnarounds, and high-pressure situations to get families situated. Being a “Military Brat” and Spouse herself, this suited her just fine. Her love of Real Estate is still present today after having relocated her own family right back here, to the great state of TX, after her husband’s early retirement in 2013.
She will be working with our very own Wendy Johnson and assisting our team as we grow to bigger endeavors. She brings to us her motivation in business management, marketing, contracting, and organization. She is a levelheaded, out of the box thinker, always striving to enhance the businesses long term goals.
Outside of the office she enjoys time with her family attending local concerts and plays, watching baseball, and running their lawn care company.
Wayne holds a CPA designation and has worked in public accounting and currently works in the Treasury Department of a Fortune 10 Company.
Wayne was responsible for managing a team dedicated to resolving physical damage to AT&T property, generating ~$80M in recovered costs annually. Wayne also served as an expert witness for AT&T testifying in numerous trials. Prior to this, Wayne managed projects in Network Finance to help facilitate ELMOS and APEX system enhancements and creation.
Wayne holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Wayne is a member of AT&T Women of Finance, serves as an AT&T Service Ambassador and volunteers at Church. Wayne and his wife Wendy have three children and currently reside in Royse City, Texas, where they raise horses, hike and enjoy family vacations.
